GGC reserves the right to cancel the course and fully refund the paid registration fee to the participants should unforeseen circumstances necessitate it.

  1. A full refund of course fee will be provided with a written email notification before course registration deadline.
  2. No refund of course fee will be provided if a written notification is received on or after course registration deadline. (Exceptions may be made for participants under extenuating circumstances and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.)
  3. Should the course cancellation come from the training provider for unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of course fees will be provided to participants who have registered and paid for the course.
  4. SkillsFuture Credits or relevant subsidies cannot be offset for any cancellation penalty originated from participant course withdrawal. GGC reserves the rights to keep the full course fee under such circumstances.

Once course confirmation e-mail is received, requests for replacement course date or replacement participant details must be submitted via a written notification 5 business days before course commencement.

NTU Programmes FAQ

The 8-day course is a short course conducted wholly in person. It is an introductory training programme for learners to focus on ESG in green technology. 

The aim of the short course is to broaden your understanding of key corporate sustainability concepts, standards, guidelines and frameworks. These will assist in driving and implementing beneficial and profitable sustainability strategies within their organisation. 

In essence, the 8-day short course is a prelude to the SCTP 4-6 month programme. 

For those looking for a career pivot, the SkillsFuture Transition Program (SCTP) is to help with a potential career switch. It comprises a blended learning format that includes in-person, virtual, self-learning that equips you with future-ready skills for emerging green jobs, or existing jobs that are going green in the built environment and environmental services sectors. 

Learners will take on a capstone project with an assigned company, get to learn more about the company and its industry, observe the staff at work, and conduct stimulating discussions with corporate chiefs related to the company’s challenge statement. Career coaching will also be part of the program and post-career guidance will be accessible through our recruitment partners. 

As part of the assessment, participants are required to complete and present a project presentation for each corporation.



NTU 8-day course

  • Singaporeans/PR enjoy a base subsidy of 70%, bringing the total payable fees to $2,592
  • Singaporeans above 40 or a registered SME qualify for 90% funding, bringing the total payable fees to $992
  • NTU/NIE alumni can access their $1,600 worth of Alumni Course Credits
  • Personal and enhanced SkillsFuture credits can be used additionally to offset the total payable fees
  • For corporate sponsorships, individuals may be able to qualify for absentee payroll claims through their HR

NTU SCTP

  • $19,440 before SkillsFuture subsidies.
  • $1,944 after up to 90% SkillsFuture funding if you are a Singaporean/PR above 40 years old or from a registered SME
  • $5,832 after up to 70% SkillsFuture funding if you are a Singaporean/PR under 40 years old
  • Additional Funding Support (AFS) is available for eligible Singapore Citizens that meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria can enjoy subsidies up to 95% of the course fee:
    • Long-term unemployed individuals (unemployed for six months or more); or
    • Individuals in need of financial assistance – ComCare Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (SMTA) recipients or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) recipients; or
    • Persons with Disabilities
  •  NTU/NIE alumni can access their Alumni Course Credits to offset the remaining fees.
  • Personal SkillsFuture credits can be used additionally to offset the total payable fees.

Some background or experience in the sector is recommended, but participants are not required to have a minimum qualification to attend the class.

NTU SCTP
Some background or experience in the sector is recommended, but participants are not required to have a minimum qualification to attend the class. As this is a long course, participants will be required to commit to the full course attendance.

Your registration will be acknowledged by email. Please ensure that you have received an email notification from a representative from NTU PaCE. Email us at info@globalgreenconnect.com if you have not received a confirmation email.

Two weeks before the start of class, you will receive payment advice after applicable funding deductions from SkillsFuture and NTU/NIE. Should you fail to make payment before the specified date, your place in class will be forfeited.

75% attendance per module is required to pass the course. A medical certificate is required for any absence. Trainees who are unable to meet these requirements, or exit the programme without a valid reason, will be asked to return the course fee subsidy that they have received, including any additional course fee funding support.

The passing score for the module assessments is 50-75% (subject to the module).

The SCTP has seven modules in total.

From Module 1 to 6, each module spans two weeks, and involves in-person classroom, virtual and self-learning, totalling 28 hours.

For each module, virtual sessions and self-learning will occur during the weekdays, from 8pm to 10pm (2 hrs). There are a total of six virtual sessions and four self-learning sessions over two weeks.

In-person classes are conducted on a Saturday from 9am to 5pm. There will only be one session over two weeks.

The main goal of the SCTP is to prepare individuals for a role in the built environment. The program covers 6 modules that are coupled with a capstone project that will be assessed, company visits to meet potential future employers and plenty of career guidance by NTU will boost your chance of getting the right role. This will aid your job search, but we do not guarantee you a role as you will need to undergo your own interview with the company.

To date, NTU has 650+ SCTP learners with 70% of learners who found jobs after completing the course.

PaCE@NTU and Global Green Connect Academy offer career advisory and employment assistance under SCTP’s train-and-place modality.

While no job placement is guaranteed, trainees receive support for their job search within relevant sectors.

The programme includes dedicated career consultants for coaching sessions, industry insights through seminars, and employability workshops to navigate the job search process in the modern market.

Ongoing support can be provided even after programme completion for successful career transitions.

Life Cycle Assesment Training FAQ

No, the courses are not covered under the Skills Future programme.

No, as the Internal Auditor (IA) course will cover all the topics taught in the Awareness course. Our IA course is more suitable for existing sustainability practitioners as the topics covered from Day 2 will be more technical and thus might not be suitable for individuals without prior background knowledge. Awareness course would be more suitable for designers (systems/projects) and purchasers to account for and report Scope 3 – Category 1 emissions.

Yes, there will be both theory and application. A variety of case studies focusing on products will be used. Though it may not be specific for your sector, the knowledge gained from all the principles taught can be transferred and applied in your daily work.

ISO14040 gives an introduction on the concept of an LCA and procedures whereas ISO14044 will deep dive into LCA procedures. ISO14025 gives the specification on the procedures to develop environmental declaration for product – environmental product declaration or most widely known as EPD. ISO14064-3 is the international standard used for practitioners to validate and verify GHG.

Certificate of Attainment for IA course demonstrates that the trainees have undergone a systematic training to equip themselves with applied knowledge as an Internal Auditor for their company to verify and check on LCAs. On whether the trainee can be an Internal Auditor in their company, it will subject to their company’s internal qualification requirements.
