Christina is deeply passionate about sustainability & business. She founded GGEC (Global Green Economic Consulting) in Singapore, followed by the launch of inaugural Global Green Connect and GGEF (Global Green Economic Forum) in 2013.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Christina was appointed as Asia Managing Director of the leading global business media, Bloomberg Businessweek (formerly known as BusinessWeek) where she worked for 12 years. Actively in supporting media industry and business communities, Christina was the Deputy Chairman of SOPA (The Society of Publishers in Asia) and Chairman of its China Projects Group Sub-Committee.
She is currently the advisor of Tsinghua University x-lab, a board of director of Canaan Garden Charity and permanent member of Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce & the Youth Elite Association in Hong Kong. Christina holds a Masters Degree in Management from Macquarie University (MGSM), Sydney.
Prof. Poon has been teaching masters programs in CUHK Business School since 2002, including Global EMBA, EMBA, and MBA. He teaches multiple courses, including Strategic Management, Brand Building, Market Development, and Marketing, and has won multiple Distinguished Teaching Awards.
Prof. Poon is now an honorary research fellow of CUHK Asia-Pacific Institute of Business and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing, as well as the host of Nova Management, a long-running radio program on RTHK. For years, he has provided consultation on strategic advises corporate governance and executive coaching for multiple companies from all over the world.
Prof. Poon serves as individual non-executive director of two listed Hong Kong Companies and holds corporate governance roles including Compensation Committee, Nomination Committee, and Audit Committee. He is also the Honorary Advisor of Hong Kong Red Cross Humanitarian Education Center.
A passionate marketing professional with rich experience in Marketing, Sales and Customer Service in leading MNC organizations, Catherine is known for both her B2C and B2B marketing know-how and professional insights in handling integrated campaigns. Her expertise spans across marketing strategy, event management, marketing communication, lead generation and product marketing.
Prior to joining GGEC, Catherine oversaw marketing across key Asian marketing regions with the industry leader in unified collaboration solutions, Polycom Asia Pacific. She worked closely and execute marketing plans programmatically with key stakeholders and partners to understand sales imperatives, align business priorities & marketing objectives. Her focus was on demand generation and leading the customers’ journey through the buyer’s cycle with appropriate tactics to build pipeline and revenue.
During her tenure in Bloomberg Businessweek, Catherine spearheaded initiatives like re-branding campaigns after Bloomberg’s acquisition and led various event functions such as the CEO Forum and Global Green Business Summit. Catherine also assumed other sales & marketing roles at Canon and SingTel.
Jonathan is a seasoned Cleantech professional, with over 6 years of both private and public sector experience in the Cleantech industry in Asia.
He was part of the founding team and the Chief Financial Officer at LYS Energy, a Solar Independent Power producer that has developed and financed solar systems all over Southeast Asia.
Prior to LYS Energy, Jonathan spent four years in the Singapore government. At the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), he drove the development of the renewable energy sector in Singapore and successfully negotiated and structured significant foreign solar investments and worked on increasing solar adoption in Singapore. Jonathan also spent a year in the Regional Development Team of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Jonathan holds a Masters degree from Stanford University and completed his undergraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Presently, he is Founder-CEO of Vivo Diagnostics, a Singapore-based healthcare company specialising in the manufacture of next-generation medical devices for the developing world.
Kevin was previously the Asian Investment Director of Excalibur Group Holdings, the UK’s pre-eminent medical sciences private equity investment firm, where he was responsible for venture capital investments in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Further to Kevin’s experience in private equity and start-up/growth capital raising, his other areas of commercial experience include corporate rebranding, marketing and operational restructuring.
Kevin’s concurrent appointments include being Co-Founder & Executive Producer of the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (Singapore), Management Committee Member of PathoVax, LLC (USA), Management Board Member of the Kanok Group (Thailand) and Advisor to the Global Green Economic Consulting Group (Hong Kong/Singapore).
Kevin holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London (Hamlyn Centre/Institute of Global Health Innovation) and a BSc (Honours) in Molecular Cell Biology from University College London in the United Kingdom.
Harry Li has extensive experience in project management, business consulting and finance industry.
Harry was a key member of the launch team for Forbes China. He was appointed as Deputy General Manager for Bloomberg BusinessWeek in China.
After spending years in media, Harry joined Bank of China International Holdings and China Merchants Securities International Investment Bank in Hong Kong. He was engaged in corporate listing and other finance businesses. Harry is familiar with both domestic and international capital markets. He also has extensive contacts and research knowledge related to the green economy and sustainable development.
Harry holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of International Business and Economics. He is passionate about Chinese culture.
